Using a callback URL approach, if our server is down, what is your callback retrying policy?
Semantria can be configured to make data delivery attempts a set number of times. If after the specified number of times the calls continue to fail, Semantria’s engine will stop sending callbacks for 30 minutes before it tries again. The engine will keep the file in the queue for 24 hours before it will start removing them, whether they have been delivered or not.
If your server is down for a few hours, it should not affect data retrieval. However, if it is down for 16-20 hours, the data risks being lost.
How long does the Semantria engine keep documents in its internal queue?
For all data retrieval methods (direct data requesting, auto-responding, or webhook), all documents will be kept in their queue by the Semantria server for 24 hours, whether delivered or not.
